For Immediate Release

Gilbert, AZ – January 8th, 2018 – The first week of the new year had International Powerlifters Council, LLC reviewing member histories, records, accomplishments, and the members effect on the community in which they live. This year, they chose member Mark Bryant as their 2017 Member Of The Year.

During Mark’s many years of powerlifting, he has been inducted into the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), Washington State Strength Sport Hall of Fame, as well as the Washington USA Powerlifting Hall of Fame. He has numerous powerlifting records in state, national, and world competitions. As great as those accomplishments are, they’re not why he was chosen as the 2017 Member Of The Year.

Mark was chosen because of who he is, as a man… member of his community… and what other people (who’ve known him for years) say about him. Whether people know Mark from his work teaching senior fitness at the Southeast Seattle Senior Center, or volunteering at the Bumblebee Boxing Club and/or the Union Gospel Mission in Seattle’s Othello neighborhood… people all say what an inspiration Mark is for them.
