Mesa, AZ – December 15th, 2018 – The last month of the year had International Powerlifters Council LLC, reviewing member histories, records, accomplishments, and the members’ effect on the community in which they live. This year, they chose member Jessie Pulido, of the Spartan Anabolic Club, as their 2018 Member Of The Year.
Jessie is a personal trainer who graduated last year (with Honors) with a degree in Kinesiology. He played football in college and joined the US Army after that. He served 14 years and served multiple tours in Iraq & Afghanistan. He is now a 100% disabled veteran, and uses powerlifting as a way to cope with his PTSD and other disabilities. He won the first two powerlifting meets he competed in, this year.
A well rounded athlete, Jessie also trains in Jiu-jitsu, Judo, and Kickboxing. He is currently enrolled in the IPC Powerlifting Coach & Referee program while also working on his Master’s degree.
Jessie’s future goal is to open a bigger gym.
