| Squat | Bench Press | Dead-lift | Strict Curl | Clean & Press |
The international standard for powerlifting meets consists of only three lifts. Squat, bench press, and dead lift. They are in that order due to the difficulty of each lift on the athlete.
The “Strict Curl” is sometimes added to the meet and often times held in a separate competition. This is one of the most underestimated movements we’ve ever found. If you think this is only for biceps… you need to try it. A strict curl activates dozens of muscles when done correctly.
The Clean & Press is our all around strength building tool. We LOVE this movement. Notice, it’s a clean & press… NOT jerk… and no split steps.
- If we ask what your “Powerlifting Total” is, we’re referring to the standard 3 lifts.
- If we ask what your “Beast Total” is, we’re referring to ALL 5 lifts.
So… what’s YOUR Beast Total?!?!
